Welcome to our Online Shop
First, a bit of history...
I have been an automotive diagnostic technician for a long time. Some of you may follow my Youtube channel or other social media. I also have been into building things since I was very young. Sometimes you just can't get what you want or need, so you make it. Well, over the years I have made a lot of different things that made my job easier. Most things were made by hand, machined, etc. People who know me, asked me to make things for them as well. I had machined a few scope booms for friends, along with making a number of other things.
A couple of years ago, I started learning about 3d printing. I must admit that my initial thoughts were that it was more a novelty to make trinkets. However, I soon realized that it is much more than that. While there is no way it can produce the scope lead booms as I can on a mill, it has other benefits that manual machining simply does not share. So, you may not get the metal parts, but you can still have nice parts. So, I started to transfer ideas and designs I had over to 3d print files. I decided to start this online store after having products tested by top level automotive diagnostic technicians. The feedback has been unbelievable. Everything I make has a unique design, in one way or another. I believe in keeping things simple, and highly functional. Some of the items have video demonstrations in the descriptions. Some are below on this page, and more will follow as time allows.
With all of that said, I want to explain that everything I offer here is hand assembled and tested by me. I do the very best I can to make sure I can get items out to people in a timely manner. I always put quality above everything else, because if you buy something and it does not function, no one is happy. Most of the time, you can expect a quick turn around for shipping. maybe a day or two. Of course, there are always exceptions I may have gotten backed up by all the orders you guys are placing, or perhaps I am waiting on needed components to built your item. I would say that the worst case would be 1 to 2 weeks, but that would be the exception. I am always available through our contact us page as well if you have any questions about an order, or simply have questions before placing an order.
*Also note you can send us a message through our messaging feature at the bottom right of the page!*
If you just read that, God bless you and thank you.
NOW! Let's get to the good stuff!

OTOFIX D1 Lite Magnetic Mount & Dock Kit
I wanted to design something along the same lightweight and slim design as the tool.
This is a two-part kit. It is spring loaded with bottom support to hold the scan tool safely. It has strong magnets which allows you to put it on a lift arm, side of a lift, toolbox, diag cart, etc. The base is a separate piece, also magnetic, so it can be left on your toolbox as a dock. Of course, you can place the base on a non-magnetic surface, such as a dash board and leave the tool docked while you are working.
This kit was designed for the D1 Lite, but the D1 shares the same dimensions, so it'll work as well.
*It may work with other tools but, I am not responsible if you purchase it for something else and it doesn't fit.
Topdon TC View Holder
This unit was the idea of a buddy of mine to both protect the unit, and to make it strap to a phone for use with a USB cable. Why use a cable? Some phone cases interfere with the camera fitting into the USB port on the phone, so instead of dealing with that, you can run a USB cable instead and have the TC View held safely in place with the velcro strap.
Rechargeable Head-Light w/ Motion Sensor
If you're sick of trying to position lights under a dash, or under a vehicle, or just anyplace you need a focused bit of good lighting, this is the light you need!
This thing has multiple settings for brightness, as well as a sensor that can be used to turn the light on and off at whatever setting you have it on.
The unit is adjustable to fit and is comfortable and light. It is a tool i wish I had years ago. Comes with a USB- C cable for charging.
2mm Magnetic Probes
These are the same probe sets that come standard with power probe's obd2 breakout box.
The tips are 2mm, but the jacks are standard 4mm banana.
These are special because they not only fit the power probe box pin outs, but they are designed specifically to connect to each other magnetically to make fuse testing easier. You can set the tips to be spaced apart for mini, atc, and maxi fuses, for easily testing draws on different fuse circuits.
Fluke Meter Magnetic Hanger
For those who've lost or broke the original, as I had, this is something I put together to replace it. The entire assembly is 3d printer, with the clip and buckle done in a durable plastic, while the magnetic part is done with rubberized plastic. The strap is nylon.
Should fit fluke meters with cutout in case.
Blazer Micro Torch Magnetic Mount/Stand
I have been using these micro torches since the early 1990's. I've used them for everything from lighting a cigarette to soldering repairs.
They come with a rubber stand so you can have the torch facing upward. I decided that I needed it to be on it's side more that up, and made this printed mount which fits over the torch body, and does not interfere with any of it's operations. It has two strong magnets which are useful to keep the torch in a safe place, and it can be used to lay the torch on it's side, while locked in the on position.
Printed in TPU, these also give a bit of protection as well.
Noise Detection sensor
Over the years, finding noises and vibrations in vehicles could sometimes be a difficult thing to do. Worse still, it is sometimes very time consuming, which means that both you, and the customer suffer because of it. there have been many tools I have seen or tried over the years, and all had one issue or the other. (nothing's perfect I guess). Either they were an absolute pain to use or set up, or they were very inconsistent in finding the source. Some were simply very expensive to buy. I wanted to come up with a way to utilize the power of a scope, and offer an affordable option that actually works. With my Noise Detection Sensors (NDS) units, you can hook up one to each channel of your scope, set them in place using the magnets, or strap them in place to non-magnetic surfaces. Either way, once they are set in place, you can use your scope to find out which of the sensors is closest to the source of the problem. Very easy to use, very affordable to buy, and they work
- Please note that the price is PER unit.
Noise Sensor Mounting Solutions
One type is a plain steel magnetic disc. To attach this you can use either super glue or something similar. Alternatively, you can use hot glue or double-sided tape or whatever else you can come up with that would hold it in place while you are doing your testing. Depending on the surface that you're attaching it to obviously some things will be better than others and that will be your decision to make. Super glue would hold them well on many surfaces like aluminum and then you can remove them if you need to using a small propane or butane torch.
The second option is an adhesive backed Steel disc. The 3M tape that's on here is strong and sticky.
Price is PER disk
Magnetic Lead Holders for Test Drives
I designed these little guys to help organize your scope leads while on a test drive. We all know how scope leads look in a driveshaft, or fan.(Not pretty). So with these you can simply use the strong magnets to hold your leads in place and do your testing without worrying.
These lead holders are also very useful to keep your spare test leads organized ont he side of your toolbox or anywhere else.
- I offer them in sets of 5 for either design. Choose single or double loop depending on your needs.
LIMITED QUANTITY Testlight COMBO KIT
Sold out
We have a limited number of HF style test lights to sell. We will include one test light with our new style adapter and original lead.
While supplies last.
Color of adapter will vary. Units are brand new, but will not come in original packaging.
Note: These units draw 250mA
Multi-Bulb Magnetic Test Light
I used to make test lights out of various bulbs for load testing. Some bulbs obviously can produce some serious heat, and needed a shield to stop the bulb from possibly burning things, as well as to protect it from breaking. I used to like using glass mason jars. Those of you following my social media have likely seen them years ago.
So, as there are various headlight style load test lamps available, I wanted to offer you something a bit different.
This unit has a 194 bulb pigtail which happens to accept multiple bulbs of different wattage. For instance, the included 194 bulb draws 325mA. But, if you wanted something with a bit more, you could install one of the many different bulbs that fits this socket! A 921 bulb, for instance, would be at about 1.2amps!
You see how this single test light can be very useful. But it gets better. The unit is equipped with stackable banana ends. This means you can hook up your meter in line, and you can even use multiple units to create a higher current for load testing. .i.e 2 of these lights, with 921 bulbs would be at about 2.4 amps. This gives you many options and the best part is these bulbs will not produce the amount of heat that a larger halogen lamp style will.
I have drop tested these units (No pun intended) and they hold up quite well. They are a bit flexible, so they will not shatter if they hit the floor.
Oh yea, one more thing. These units are all standard with magnets! I don't need to explain how useful that is.
All units are transparent. Multiple colors available.
See video below for a quick demonstration.
Aluminum Test Light
These test lights are modified in house, with a high quality lead and stackable banana end for versatility and efficiently.
The all metal housing is compact with a protective, screw-on cap for the tip. The tip is needle sharp and small, which makes it nice for safely back probing circuits.
I supply them with a red 150mA bulb.
The units are all painted for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. I have personally used these little test lights for years, and absolutely love them. I figured I'd modify some and offer them to my customers now.
*Note: Units from here on will NOT be Painted.
**Note: the tip of these units and the housing are not insulated. Therefore, touching any positive feed with any exposed part of the case will cause it to light. Paint wears and scratches over time, so keep this in mind.
Secondary Ignition Pick-ups
Please Note that price is per unit
If you are using a scope for diagnostic work, you are probably using ignition waveforms. While primary is nice, sometimes, secondary is necessary. So, I have been making my own secondary ignition wands and pick-ups for quite a long time, with great success.
I transferred my design into something which can be used in multiple ways. You can lay these units on a coil and get your secondary waveform, or you can use the included, reusable double-sided tape to mount them to the coils for test drives.
Another thing you can do is use stackable banana leads and jump these units together on one channel. (Very helpful for those with only 2 channel scopes!)
As for how they perform, they have been out in the hands of elite diagnostic technicians for some time now, and the feedback has been incredible! You can see for yourself in the pictures as well as the videos below! That first video is taken off a VW by Adrian Lowes! The Second video is Sherwood Cooke Jr. using them in a demo! They perform well beyond what guys expected. No disappointments with these pick-ups!

Magnetic Storage Mount for Coil Pick-ups (Holds 4)
I decided to design a storage solution for the coil pick-ups. You can have them conveniently in place on your cart or toolbox. This mount also helps to keep from losing the units, as you will know at a glance if any are missing.
Secondary Ignition FlexWand
As you may know, trying to get a secondary waveform can be a pain on some vehicles. The intake is in the way and there is no room to gain access to the coil in question. I designed these with that in mind. The tube is flexible, and the tube diameter is under 10mm. The tip is actually just over 11mm, making this unit quite capable of getting into tighter spots, and getting into a position to capture a good waveform.
**I always recommend using a test light to check for any secondary ignition issues, prior to using a scope. If there is stray voltage from a cracked coil, etc, it will jump to your grounded testlight. This is something I have done for many years as a safety test.**
OTC Style Test Light Banana Adapter
If you're an automotive technician you're no stranger to a test light. These simple, yet valuable tools should be in everyone's toolbox. We all know that any tool in proper working order to be of any use to us. Over the years test lights like any other tool can be damaged due to wear and tear. Usually what happens is the wiring brakes inside of the insulation right at the strain relief at the top. This is a problem because first of all you will not see the damage, and second of all once this does happen it can lead to a misdiagnosis. The latter being a much bigger problem obviously. I've developed a replacement unit for both The strain relief and the cable. This new assembly screws directly onto your test light. With the short cable you can now store your test light without worrying about the long lead getting damaged, or simply being in the way. Unlike the stock cable which uses a very flimsy clamp, this unit also has a stackable banana connector. With this you can use extensions of any type using banana connectors and make as long, or short of a lead as you feel necessary for the job you're performing. Using the banana setup you can also utilize the alligator clips, or a piercing probe, or any other type of probe that a banana jack will allow.
Choose between standard unit and magnetic!
These units will fit any test light assembly that uses a M16 x 2mm thread pitch with male threads on test light assembly side.
More units for other tests light assemblies are on the way soon.
Harbor Freight/Napa Test light adapter cap w/stackable banana end
Like all of our products, these units are hand built.
Scope Lead Magnetic Mount Set
I used to machine custom scope booms. After showing the one I built for myself, I had a lot of interest for them. I very rarely use my machine tools these days due to the dizziness. A couple years ago, I created a design to make the parts on a printer so they could be bolted to a flat surface, enabling people to create custom booms. I had guys asking if I could make them magnetic as well. I created the but had not put them on site because I had a lot of other things keeping me busy.
Well, now I have decided to sell the lead holders and the clamp holder as a set.
They utilize strong, rare earth magnets. For guys who prefer something that is not made permanent to a cart, these should be exactly what you need.
Color options will be available soon.
UV Beast Magnetic Storage Mount
The UV Beast is a very popular, low cost alternative to the very expensive units on the market. They are sold through Amazon, and the automotive industry has been using these units to find leaks in AC systems, cooling systems, oil, etc. They are unbelievably powerful lights for the money, so no surprise they are so popular.
Recently my buddy Chad, "The Practical Mechanic" on YouTube, asked me to come up with a simple storage mount for these lights. Unfortunately, when things do not have their own specific place, they are often lost in the busy, daily routine. So I came up with this mount. Instead of tossing the light in a drawer or forgetting it someplace, put it back in the mount until you need it again. These mounts are affordable, just like the UV Beast!
VCI Dongle Dock
I was asked to make these units from a technician. I thought it might be a useful idea to keep the rather expensive components safe, and organized. So this is what I've come up with. The unit holds 6 dongles, has 5 very strong, rare earth magnets to hold it securely to your diagnostic cart, in a drawer, on a toolbox, etc.
It also has two, 5mm holes for mounting with either plastic rivets or metal hardware. (Not included)
I also incorporated a carry handle for obvious reasons. (Do not pull it off magnetic surfaces by this handle)
I believe this is a great solution to keep these important tools at the ready.
More options may follow in the future as well.
VCI Inline Dongle Dock
As the title says, this is an online VCI organization solution. Each unit holds 4 dongles and has two rare earth magnets on back, and alternatively there are two 5mm holes to mount using plastic rivets or conventional hardware.(not included)
Power or Ground Bus Blocks
These units were first made on request and have proved to be a very valuable tool. They can be used connected to a source of power or ground, and then used as a known good distribution block for multiple uses.
Another thing that can be done is to use the jacks as a point of connection for testing or monitoring a circuit with multiple tools. The fixed lead is a male end banana jack and can easily be extended by connecting a female banana extension to it. Blocks come with an alligator clip as well.
It is recommended to use a fused lead to connect to a power or ground source.
But a set and save!
Delta Pressure Sensor
(This unit is available as a standard type or Waterproof IP68 Rated!)
If you are unfamiliar with the delta pressure sensor in diagnostics, I strongly recommend looking into Brandon Steckler's class on Pressure waveform analysis. He does these presentations all over the world, and it is also available in a webinar form through CTI-Online training.
All Delta sensors have a Magnetic Storage mount included!
*The (Stained Glass) sensor in the photo is just an example of what can be done on a 3 printer.
Scope Lead Organizers
These came about from conversation with my friend, Andrew Fischer. They are designed to hold up to 8 (4mm diameter) leads. They are semi-permanent, using a screw as well as brass threaded inserts for added reliability. So these will come in sets of 5. 4 being non-magnetic, to keep your leads from getting tangled up, and the 5th unit will have magnets in case you want to hang the leads, either on a vehicle or your too box for clean storage while not in use.
*** NOTE These are designed for 4mm leads. Make sure you are using leads that will fit!***
PWM Box
I had made a box for my own use some years ago. My thought was that I am always in need of testing things like ac blend door actuators, or VVT solenoids, or I need a 5v ref to substitute, or perhaps an old Ford with the 9v ref system. Whatever the case, I always needed something that was not right at my fingertips. I made up a box that had a lot of what I needed built-in. It made my job much easier, and obviously saved a lot of time trying to find things I needed in a diagnostic routine.
Well, I now have this box that I offer here for you. This little unit has a set of input jacks for your 12v and ground supply. Your output jacks are VVO and PWM. VVO (Variable Voltage Output) is a steady output voltage and ground, while the PWM outputs are well, pulse width modulated, and also reversible via the 3-way switch. As I stated, there are many uses you will find for this box, from bench testing a VVT solenoid, to bypassing a controller for a blend door actuator. They have been tested by professional diagnostic technicians, and all have had incredible feedback. I am humbled to have so many incredible technicians saying great things about something I designed.
Please watch a quick demo video posted by a technician who was using it for a diagnosis on a diesel.
*Please Note that this unit is designed for up to 4 amps only! Use as designed! Or you will Let out The Magic Smoke!
3 Phase Tester
So, I would hope that most of us are used to testing normal DC motors, as we have seen them for our entire career. two wires, power and ground...maybe a bit more involved when you add in units like FPCM, etc, but they are still in essence a 2-wire DC motor.
Well, some of you may not be aware that in recent years, the automotive industry has been using a different type of motor for Fuel pumps, electric water pumps, blower motors, and other applications. So, contrary to what some people think, the 3 Phase motor is not simply for high voltage applications like EV. And testing them is NOT like a 2 wire motor. trust me, we have seen the destruction.
This unit is designed for testing 12v DC 3 phase motors. You simply run your power and ground leads from a power source to the input jacks, then run 3 leads from the output jacks to the corresponding connections at the harness or the motor connector. (Wiring Diagrams!) At that point, you press the power switch to turn the box on, and then control the motor speed with the knob. Of course you can also piggy back into your jumpers for scope captures or use amp clamps etc. The unit is small, affordable, and has had incredible feedback from technicians who used it. As I always try to tell guys, keep it simple. Use things that work well, and get to the root cause of the problem. Don't change expensive 3 phase motors when it is a harness or controller issue. Rule out the harness and motor quickly with this unit.
Units are all made with a cooling fan to keep them cool. Keep in mind that these units are not designed to continuously run these motors, even if they can. They are designed to test them and then perform the needed repair. They do have thermal shutdown safety built in, so IF overheated, the unit will not output properly until it cools down.
There are two options available, although the 15 amp version should be all you need in most applications. The 30 amp is available due to a request, so I will continue to offer it.
*** Please note that I am not responsible for anyone using this tester improperly.. i.e. powering a fuel pump inside a tank, can be dangerous, no matter the design of the pump circuits. I do not recommend doing this unless you have already tested the circuits for any possible short circuits or potential risk of fire/explosion. Please be safe in all of your testing routines, no matter what equipment you use!***
U-scope Magnetic Mount
A Solution for those who do not want a full case on the Uscope, but instead prefer to retain the AESwave rubber cover, and also have the added capability of using magnets to keep the scope where you need it. Choose either the slim mount with 2 magnets, or the large mount with 6 magnets and two surfaces to position the scope.
Scope Cart Passthrough Plate
I have since transferred my design of these plates to my printers and offer them to you. (2020) Make no mistake, these are the original Passthrough plates!
Mounting is recommended with plastic rivets, for a cleaner look than bolts.
*Note that they are color coded to a 4 channel Pico channels. Blue, Red, Green, Yellow.
If you require a custom color code, please contact me before ordering.
Please contact me for colors available for plates before ordering!
PEAK Atlas ESR70 Soft Cover
For anyone who uses PEAK meters for electronics testing, you know the meters are fantastic, but they do not have a soft cover. Dropping them can result in a costly replacement. So I designed this little cover, made of TPU. It will be a bit of insurance for your Peak meter.
*Note that although I designed this for the ESR70, it should fit other models as well.
**Cover ONLY! Meter not included
